How do I enter a competitive exhibit at the fair?

(all are in pdf format - if you want to print any material, you will need to set your printer to "print to fit")

Review the 2014 COMPETITIVE EXHIBITOR TABLOID. Of particular importance is the "ENTRY PROCESS" on page 40 [last page]. Print an ENTRY FORM, and complete the top portion with your personal information.

Using the INDEX [page 2] of the COMPETITIVE EXHIBITOR TABLOID:

Find and review the GENERAL EXHIBITOR INFORMATION (Important Exhibitor Information, Order Of Exhibition And Rules And Regulations, Some Advice To Exhibitors, and Announcements).
Find and review additional information if entering LIVESTOCK (Livestock General Rules, Code of Show Ring Ethics, Health Rules For Livestock [an Animal Owner or Caretaker‘s Verification of Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR) statement for the animals being exhibited that is included on the exhibitor registration form must be signed [rabbits/cavies exhibitors only]; also, attach health papers (CVI) where applicable]). Review 4-H/FFA (4-H & FFA Eligibilty, 4-H & FFA Livestock Sale) and HOME ECONOMICS (Home Economics General Rules) where applicable.

Calculate a Total Entry Fee based on your fair entries [ENTRY FEE TABLE page 40] and transfer to the Entry Form.

Send the Entry Form, along with any fee, to the address listed on the Entry Form. It must be mailed by the date listed on that form.

Bring your entries to the fair on the applicable dates and times in September as indicated by the information for each entry [page 40].
